Women's History Month: What it means to Support
Women's History Month: What it Means to Support March was Women's History Month; During that time, it's imperative to not only honor the women of the past that have afforded us our opportunities and freedom, but also look to the present in order to blaze a trail that inspires the women of the future. Women's History Month is not only marked by business however, but by the ability of women to access the future's they want on their own accord. Women's History Month has not always been as inclusive as it seems today however, due to discrimination against non-white women and women with disabilities. Black women, and other non-white women, have had to fight for their rights as women, functioning members of society, and the ability to retain the rights afforded to white women. Through establishing businesses, organizing, protesting, and supporting our fellow community members, we follow the path that the women before us have walked in order to increase the standard
